Aim

• When mentees define their goals for the mentorship it helps to set the tone & agenda for meetings. The goals should guide the mentoring relationship. In fact, when a mentee has shared their goals with a mentor it makes them more likely to achieve the goal as they feel more accountable.
• Mentoring seeks to build wisdom – the ability to apply skills, Knowledge & experience to new situations & processes.
• Coaching – The focus is on meeting very specific objectives within a set period of time. Coaching is mainly concerned with performance & the development of certain skills.
